it's been a long time...

since my last post. almost 8 months. but you know what, the sunsets just aren't as cool in the summer as the fall/winter. they have been amazing as of late. we had fires and a little rain and that always helps. plus as the days go by the sun is lower and well that seems to create better viewing. last friday my friend erin and i took a bike ride hoping to check out a new bar. air conditioned. well, they were open, and certainly not friendly enough to let us have a drink. but lucky us, we turned around to hop back on our bikes and head to the friendly beach bar NIKKI. there was a gorgeous, very bright rainbow. as we stared for several minutes an other rainbow - a but lighter in shade pulled up right next to the other. it was nice to see all the people on their lawns looking up at the sky. taking pics with there cell phones. which is exactly how i took these. the last pic was as erin and i reached the boardwalk. the sky was foreboding and gorgeously splashed with colors all at the same time. anyway, the dusk became night and we had a great time bouncing around venice with the girls... oh yeah, last thought, it was friday the 13th of october. always a great day...
