dashboard lights...
yesterday my grandpa passed away. he was 74. a good man. a paratrooper in the army. a brooklyn native. handsome and badass... i clearly love the sky. i love sunsets and rainstorms. i go crazy in the wind. my grandpa loved storms too... it was a beautiful day yesterday. both in SC (where he lived) and LA (where i live). then just as suddenly as people pass, clouds came, i saw lightening in the sky and raindrops on my windshield. a thunderstorm for him. for me. these two pictures are for my grandpa. rest in peace. i love you.

This is a beautiful tribute to your grandfather. I think you captured the moment and the sentiment perfectly.
I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather, but I think what you wrote is great and I'm sure he would love it.
